All of the Year 6 teachers are working with children in school at the moment. We will still reply to any messages you send us and comment on any work sent by either Dojo or e-mail but it might take a little longer for a reply now!

We would still ask you to check in with us at least once a week so we know that you are all ok and you might hear from another member of staff by phone.

Hello year 6,

Unfortunately, COVID has meant that we are unable to celebrate your final year of Primary school in the way that you normally would with shirt and autograph book signing so we have decided to celebrate in a slightly different way this year.

We would like you to write a single message alongside a photograph of yourself which we will print and give to each child to stick into their autograph books. The message is to all of the year group and therefore, should be appropriate to everyone. We have created a template that you can type your name and first initial of your surname and class, your message and input a photo of yourself. If you’d prefer not to have a photo of yourself included, we have also created a template that you can just write your message. It is important that you do not change the format of the template (box size) as it will be printed onto stickers and it may be cut off. If you do not have Microsoft word and you wish to send in a message, please send it via Dojo or email to your class teacher and we will put it onto the template for you.

Please note that all children in Year 6 will receive the message and photograph that you submit.

Please ensure that this is completed and submitted by 3pm on Monday 13th July at the very latest. If you miss the deadline, we will not have time to include you.

Happy writing,

The Year 6 Team
