Over the coming weeks, children will be embarking on a' Learning at Home' adventure. We will be posting suggested activities here each day and will be asking children to complete the tasks and send a message or photo of the work back to their teacher via Class Dojo.
None of the work needs to be printed. Children should be able to view the task, follow the instructions and complete it on paper, on the computer or in a practical way.

Wednesday 1st April 2020
Today's focus is on making your own arcade design using resources found at home. Consider how you will make your design look more like an arcade game and less like a cereal box with holes in - you might need to get creative!
While you're doing this, you could listen to the stories posted by your teachers on Class Dojo (or David Walliams Elevenses story) or might want to play some TTRS whilst you wait for your creation to dry.
We can't wait to see what you come up with!
Feel free to email videos of your finished product to your teacher so they can see the game in action!

Monday 30th March 2020
This week, a lot of the work you will be doing will be focused around a central theme, Caine's Arcade. The tasks you need for this are all in one document (Project - Caine's Arcade) but are divided into days. Some days will have more slides than others - just make sure you stop at the end of the current day, or you'll have no activities for the next day!
See Caine's Arcade project file. Remember to stop at the end of Monday.
Monday Methods challenge - can you complete either the Cheeky 1, Cheeky 2 or Chunky challenge? You do not need to do all three sections!
There is a help sheet available to remind you of the methods you know!
Let's Learn About the Romans - History/Craft live lesson.
Follow along and create your own Roman brooches.
You will need:
- pieces of scrap card (cereal boxes etc)
- silver foil
- blunt pencil
- felt tip pens
Well done for making it through Week 1 of the Home Learning Challenge!
If you can, please do print off the certificate as a reminder of all the hard work you're doing!
